In 1997, Bob Shank created and launched The Master’s Program (TMP) to provide strategic mentoring and life coaching for leaders in God’s Kingdom. As a successful business owner and Senior Pastor of a California megachurch, Bob noticed a pattern with leaders in both business and ministry. Although they had achieved success in their profession, many were lacking balance in their personal, family and ministry life. Bob set out to develop resources such as curriculum, mentoring, and quarterly meetings to help men find focus and margin in their busy lives.
Soon after Bob started the men’s classes, His wife Cheri, taught the program to the wives of the men who were under his leadership. Cheri continues to help women find their personal calling in the Kingdom, coordinating special events for TMP, and founding Safari Sisters (include link), a mission to help abandoned aids/HIV victims in South Africa. Bob and Cheri, have two children, 6 grandchildren and make their home in Southern California.
By 2000, Sandy Olsson, who was working with Bob Shank, felt led to open up TMP for women and with Bob’s blessing The Master’s Program for Women was born! TMPW launched and expanded across the nation because of Sandy’s obedience to God, passion for women, and her love for the curriculum. At the end of 2017, Sandy stepped down as the National Director of TMPW and passed the baton to Nadya Dickson.
After serving as a coach in TMPW since 2010, Nadya Dickson accepted the role as the National Director for TMPW in 2017. Her passion to see women discover their God-given gifts and abilities is contagious and TMPW is continuing to grow through her leadership. A Canadian by birth, Nadya has broad based experiences in everything from pastoral ministry to management in branding, communications and marketing for private companies. In addition to her directing TMPW, Nadya and her husband have started a consulting company called Trivium Consulting Group. Nadya and her husband Damien, have two sons, one grandson, and live in Charlotte, NC.
Today, over 2000 leaders have completed the program, while hundreds more are currently enrolled. Both programs have grown from a founder-led movement and are now thriving in the U.S. and expanding internationally as well.
